    *TAPER'S NOTES:
    - Taper wishes to remain anonymous but contacted u2start to share this one
    - This is a fair recording of the third show in Amsterdam, recorded from the
long side in the seats. During Sunday Bloody Sunday the recorder got kicked
to another spot 8 stairs away. After that you can hear if the person under
which chair the recorder then lies stands up or sits down, the sound then
gets a bit better [e.g. Pride (In The Name Of Love) - bg].

    BIGGIRL NOTES:
After the incident where the recording device got kicked under someone else's seat,
the balance is way off and the sound becomes somewhat muffled while the volume decreases.
Additionally, pretty silly and sometimes quite annoying comments are audible form both locations.
Though the good thing is that no loud clappers or whistlers were in close proximity of the recorder at any time.

For this lossless share I corrected the balance throughout the whole recording
as good as I could. I also adjusted the volume before and after the kick so the
recording in toto has become somewhat more uniform. All of this was dome manually,
track by track - and sometimes bit by bit.
Otherwise this recording is unaltered: no EQ, nor compression, or any other kind of
    remastering has been applied.
I do, however, believe that this recording can be fairly improved by remastering but
this may, perhaps, be done "another time, another place."

THANKS to the anonymous recorder for sharing!

    *ONE8UNG notes:
    - Recorded from section 205 (corner section)
    - During Volcano there is annoying chatter and EBW
is compromised by some very bad singing...

    BIGGIRL NOTES:
One8ung kindly trusted me with his recording of Amsterdam 3,
possibly to be patched with the anonymous "hockey puck"
recording in order to bypass the issues mentioned above.
The One8ung recording is at least far more clear and consistent
than the "hockey puck" but does suffer a little from the unfavourable
recording position with regard to the place of the speakers.
The recording is also a bit "clappy" but not really annoying in my
    opinion.

The patch with anonymous' recording starts with a full fade between
Elevation and Volcano - this, btw, also allows for cd burning if one
wishes to that (some dedicated artwork included anyway!). The patch
ends with a splice (no fades) between October and BTBS.

    - ALL tracks run seamlessly, except when fades are used.
    - the volume OF the CAR-BOMB explosion at the end of SBS
is LOWERED to protect your ears (and gears!)
    - a “remaster for iPod” (mp3) is up on u2start.com

PLEASE consult for matrix mixes and/or multicam projects.

BIG thanks to ONE8UNG for trusting me with his recording
and SPECIAL THANKS to u2start & the anonymous recorder
for allowing me to patch .
